Bulldogs beat Orioles

Brownsburg moves to 5-0 in 27-8 win over Avon

The Good
IU recruit Chase Dutra  showed why he is one of the areas best by doing it all aganist the Orioles. With IU Head Coach Kevin Wilson in attendance Dutra ran the ball, caught the ball, returned kicks and played defense. Overall Brownburg played well for 4 quarters in front of a packed house.

The Bad
Avon (2-2) did not seem to play with urgency. Clemson recruit Elijah Daniel waqs all over the field chasing, because Brownsburg's offensive game plan seemed to be to run away from his side if the field. Offensively the Orioles  wanted to run the ball, but the Bulldogs defense played very stingy and that forced the Orioles to the pass game that only netted them 52 yards on 5-18 and 1 interception.

From My Perspective
Being a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game Brownsburg took charge from the opening whistle. They forced Avon to play from behind seemingly leaving their game plan on the bus. Avon's Game Changing receiver Jalen Edwards only had 1 reception for 13 yards which really limited the Orioles big play capability. I give full credit to Brownsburg who played with more urgency and not remains undefeated at 5-0, but remains undefeated in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference at 5-0.

Next Week
Avon (3-2) will host Noblesville (2-3)
5A # #9 Brownsburg (5-0) will host Lafayette Jeff (2-3)

Brownsburg's Game Changer Chase Dutra tries for extra yardage.
