A giant in size at 6'6 323 Brewer was taken in the 4th round of the 2011 draft. Injuries limited his play not only in college, but in his rookie season in 2011. Brewer did not seriously begin playing football until his senior season at IPS Arlington High School in Indianapolis, but you can't teach size as IU discovered and offered him a full athletic scholarship where he was often injured, but in his 29 total games he started in 21 at the right tackle position where he is now battling for the starting role with the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants.
