Let Me Introduce Me

As I prepare to bring you quality coverage of High School Football in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area I must let you know who I am ,where I come From and why I am Blogging. I am a native of Indianapolis one of twelve in a long line of successful student-athletes. I grew up playing sports in the empty fields and crowed streets of my neighborhood with the vision of one day being a professional football player. As I grew older I often emulated my older siblings style, moves, athleticism watching their high school and college games. As I grew even older I participated  in youth league football, basketball and softball at Tabernacle Recreation or "TAB" winning numerous MVP trophies. As I matriculated to Middle School my love and skills grew as I now became the supposed "star" on my teams, In High School I was expected to follow in the footsteps of my older siblings who set the tone in Basketball, Football, and Track and Field. Upon completion of my High School Sports Career I earned many All City, All Marion County, and All State Honors culminating in being selected to the Indiana North/South All Star Football Game as well as being nominated the Indianapolis Star City Male Athlete of the Year. Through my exploits on the field and most importantly in the classroom I was offered a full ride Athletic Scholarship to many schools, but I chose to take my talents to the  "University of Oklahoma" where I was a member of several conference championship teams, 2 Orange Bowl Championships, 1 National Championship, and was selected as Team Co-Captain my senior season. My successes and ability landed me an opportunity to play professionally both in the NFL and the CFL both great learning experiences. Realizing that my playing days were over I landed back home again in Indiana where I have been Coaching, Teaching, and MENtoring since 1992. God Is Good  and this is why I want to bring to you quality coverage of high school football through my Game Changers Football Blog. Follow Me!
