2010 Ben Davis Giant graduate and current Michigan State Spartan Strong Safety has been placed on the 2012 Jim Thorpe Award watch list. This award goes to the nations most outstanding defensive back.
The 5"10 195 Lewis is going into his junior year at MSU and is entering his second year as a starter and has 89 career tackles and four interceptions, including 15 starts. In 2011 he earned 2nd Team All Big Ten honors and was selected to several All-Sophomore Teams.
