Titan Up

Coach Ekiyor and the Tech Titans are working hard in taking the next step to RESPECTABILITY!

The Arsenal Tech Titans have not had an undeated season since 1957, but  2 nd year Head Coach Emil Ekiyor has the Titans believeing it can happen this season. "We have a new attitude and our kids believe that they can play with the areas best football programs.", commented Coach Ekiyor.

Since 2000 the Titans have been stuck in obscurity with an overall record of 41-81 and a 3 year stretch going 0-30 and 6 head coaching changes over this time period.  Last year the Titans finished 5-5 after going 8-2 and IPSAC Champions in 2010 under 1 year head coach Keith Burke. Going undefeated seems a bit daunting with local powerhouses Cathedral and Chatard on the schedule on consecutive Friday's! Last season the Titans were crushed by the Irish 44-7 and this year will mark the first time the Titans and Trojans battle." Coach Ekiyor believes in order to be considered the best you must schedule , compete, and beat the best."

The Titans open the season August 17th @ 5A Ft. Wayne Wayne in which the Titans destroyed last season 45-16.  The schedule like Coach Ekiyor stated is sprinkled with programs that are imposing, but there are also some teams we should compare favorable. Not only do the Titans have a new attitude they have a new playing surface compliments of the NFL Super Bowl Legacy Project, so watch out for the Titans as they look to gain RESPECTABILITY in 2012!

  1. When they beat Cathedral and Chatard then they will gain my respect. Until then, they will be concidered overrated.
